The Effingham County CEO class business held the "Suits to Boots" fundraiser on March 30, 2019 at the Effingham Performance Center. The country concert featured three performers with local ties. Effingham native, Matt Poss, and Dakota Danielle, a Teutopolis native, opened the show with a special appearance from local artist Jamie Stang-Ellis, who painted a portrait of iconic country artist Johnny Cash. The headliner was Easton Corbin and his drummer, Gregg Lohman. Mr. Lohnman is a native of Teutopolis and a former student of Mr. Craig Lindvahl.
One of the objectives of the class business this year was to give back to the community, since the community supports CEO through many different avenues. The CEO class chose each Education Foundation from Effingham County Schools to be the recipient of a share of the proceeds. The donation in the amount of $1,000 is to be used for Fine Arts Programs, including Music, Art and Drama.
