The National Trail Conference softball coaches made selections to the All-Conference softball teams for 2023.
Named to the First Team were Most Valuable Player Cameron Rios (St. Anthony), Sam Hayes (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg), Hailey Niebrugge (St. Anthony), Lucy Fearday (St. Anthony), Taegan Webster (South Central), Ella Kinkelaar (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg), Jaylyn Michel (South Central), Grace Lemke (Altamont) and Brittney Niemerg (Dieterich).
Named to the Second Team were Brooklyn Garrett (South Central), Ava Richards (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg), Peyton Ostene (Altamont), Ella Kreke (Dieterich), Macee Rodman (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Ruby Stuckemeyer (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Sydney Kibler (St. Anthony), Addie Wernsing (St. Anthony) and Olivia Baker (St. Elmo/Brownstown).
Honorable Mention went to Estella Meinhart (Dieterich), Callie Faller (Dieterich), Anna Faber (St. Anthony), Jayna Ireland (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Kyra Swift (South Central) and Alaira Friese (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg).
St. Anthony won the regular conference season with a 6-0 record followed by Windsor/Stew-Stras 5-1, South Central 4-2, Altamont 3-3, Dieterich 4-2, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 1-5 and St. Elmo/Brownstown 0-6.
The Bulldogs won the conference tournament by downing South Central 7-1 in the title contest. Third place went to Windsor/Stew-Stras with a 5-0 win over Altamont and the consolation championship was claimed by Dieterich over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 8-3.
