DIETERICH, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A group of Effingham area business leaders recently presented Rachel Higgs from Dieterich High School the March award for Mathematic/Scientific scholastic achievement known as Hall of FAME, which represents Fantastic Area Mathematicians (Scientists) Extraordinaire.
Rachel was selected by her school staff based on preset standards.
Presenting the award to are l-r Andy Haarmann & Kevin Meyer both of H & M Concrete Construction, Rachel, Nick Burrus of Milano & Grunloh Engineers.
Rachel excels in Science will continue her education at St Louis University where she will study to be a Psychiatric Physician.
