Tonight's Baseball and Softball games have been canceled (5/2/19).
The Dieterich Junior High Student Council took a field trip yesterday and donated school supplies to Catholic Charities that were collected by the junior high. Thanks to all the junior high students that donated. They also enjoyed a fun time at Bent Key Escape.
The Dieterich FFA Chapter sent a team consisting of 5 members to the Illinois FFA State Poultry Judging Contest on Friday April 26th at Champaign IL. The team evaluated classes that included live bird placing, carcass grading, interior egg candling, carcass parts identification, and several others. 215 students, 50 schools, and 48 teams competed at the event. Dieterich's team finished an impressive 7th in the State and Seth Bohnhoff brought home 8th Overall Individual in the contest which is a huge accomplishment! Family Literacy Night will be held this evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Dieterich School Cafeteria. Pizza and drinks will be served. Author Jordan Sonnenblick will be speaking in the High School Gym @ 6:30 p. m. Hope to see you there!
