Dieterich CUSD #30 currently has a vacancy on the Board of Education. The current Board will be accepting applications from District residents who are interested in filling the vacancy.
The appointment will fill the vacant seat until the next school board election, April 8, 2025.
Anyone interested in being considered for the open seat should submit a letter of application, resume and/or any other relevant application documents to:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dan Niemerg, former administrator and school board member at Dieterich Schools.
There was no better advocate for kids. Dan devoted his life to the betterment of children.
His funeral arrangements are as follows:
Daniel R. “Dan” Niemerg, 71 of rural Dieterich, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday at the church from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Memorial donations may be given to St. Francis Religious Education. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Teutopolis.

1600M Kaden Einhorn 5th, Trevor Crutcher 11th.
3200M Kaden Einhorn 1st, Trevor Crutcher 3rd.
Kaden ran a PR of 10:11.86 to bring home the Sectional Championship in the the 3200M! Way to go!

We would like to thank Lance Dasenbrock for coming in today and speaking with our 4th grade students about fishing. He gave bait advice and explained the equipment on his boat.
The fifth graders in Mrs. Pals' class got rewarded with some flapjacks to eat "Tuck style" after finishing the novel Tuck Everlasting in Reading class!
Tonight's regional baseball game with Bluford will not be played due to Bluford's lack of players resulting in a forfeit. Dieterich moves on to play Altamont on Wednesday at 4:00 at North Clay.
Tonight's HS Boys Regional Baseball game v. Bluford (Webber Township) will be live-streamed on Facebook by Wabash Catch TV. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM. Below is the link: https://www.facebook.com/wabashcatchtv
