If you are heading to the HS Boys Basketball games at Beecher City tonight, their senior class is hosting a porkburger fundraiser and bake sale. They would appreciate your support.

Students final attendance day before break will be Thursday, Dec. 19th.

Our Lost and Found has gotten out of control. We have so many items and it seems to be growing by the day. Please look thru all the attached pictures to see if any items belong to your student(s). Have your child(ren) look thru and claim anything that belongs to them. ALL items that are not claimed by Thursday, December 19th--WILL BE DONATED to a non-profit organization.

Neoga is under a boil order. Athletes need to bring water. Not sure if the concession stand will plenty to purchase so others may want to bring it as well.
There will be an American Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, December 18th at the Dieterich Community Civic Center from 2:00-6:00. All units help DHS earn scholarship money.

Dieterich's Small Town Christmas will be held on Sunday, December 8th at Liberty Park from 2-5 p.m.! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving on a fire truck at 2:15 p.m. and Santa will be greeting children of all ages from 2:15 - 5:00 p.m. in Santa's House.

There will be a LIVE Nativity (yes, there will be animals to pet!), Reindeer Games, Cookie Kits, Take Home Crafts, Hot Chocolate, a Christmas Party Globe, Special Guest Characters, Festive Music by the Dieterich Junior High Band and Chorus from 2-3 p.m. and a performance by The Chandeliers you won't want to miss starting at 3:00 p.m.!
The Dieterich Business Association will be hosting a Basket Raffle with all proceeds being donated to the Dieterich Schools Angel Tree project. Raffle ticket are $1 each or 6/$5.
There will be a Golf Cart Parade starting at 5:00 p.m. Side-By-Sides and Gators are welcome too! Each entry must have one light up feature. We ask that no candy be thrown. Line up for entries is 4:30 p.m. by the Baseball Diamond and Judging will be at 4:45 p.m. First Place will be awarded in 3 Categories: Classic Christmas, Grinch-mas, and Redneck Christmas.

Board Member & Delegate Assembly Representative Doug Baxter ran into DHS graduate and current Illinois FFA Vice President Brody Will at the conference. Brody is serving as an assistant parliamentarian at todays delegate assembly.

We would like to congratulate our very own Mrs. Lindsay Budde on being selected to The Effingham Chamber of Commerce's Top 40 under 40 for 2024. Mrs. Budde is a paraprofessional for Dieterich Elementary. Congratulations Mrs. Budde and thank you for everything you do for Dieterich Elementary and the 4-H community.

Meet the Maroons is this Friday, November 15th. Come out and support the Class of 2025 at their Pork Burger cookout to raise funds for their senior class trip 4-6:00. Head to the gym by 6:00 and meet the Girls Basketball, Cheer, Dance, and Boys Basketball teams. Admission to Meet the Maroons is an item for the "Bringing Christmas Cheer" list. You can also select the name of a child off the Angel Tree. Flyers with more information are attached.
